Minister Don McLaughlin’s final sermon in the InRoads series focuses on Acts 24, wherein lies a story that should not be overlooked for it contains a powerful lesson.
The apostle Paul was imprisoned in Caesarea, accused of inciting an uprising among the Jews in the Temple. The Roman governor of Judea – Felix – had Paul brought before him from prison to discuss his faith and beliefs and perhaps coax a bribe from him. We know from the Bible that Felix was acquainted with “the Way” but lived a highly corrupt life. Conversations with Paul ensued over time, and Felix makes an unwitting decision about the role of God in his life. Don notes that this same decision is made by many individuals today.
Listen to this very insightful lesson to learn about Felix, his choices, and God’s gift to anyone who truly desires it.
