Recovery

ANCHOR Ministry is an outreach ministry of the North Atlanta Church of Christ whose primary mission is to provide spiritual support for people in recovery from drug and/or alcohol abuse.

We support AA, NA, and other outside recovery groups. We believe that the active working of a 12-step program is essential, and we do not seek to replace it. We seek to enrich the recovery experience through spiritual experience founded in a personal relationship with Jesus.

We believe that there is no full life recovery outside of Jesus.

On Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings we have Christian-based services and groups specifically aimed at recovery.

Regularly Scheduled Activities:

  • ANCHOR Ministry Bible class Sundays - 10:30 a.m.
  • Recovery groups for men and women - Mondays - 7:30 p.m.
  • Recovery outreach training - Wednesdays - 7:15 p.m.
  • Off-the-Chain recovery support group - Wednesdays - 7:15 p.m.
