Our theme at NAPS is:
“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6
At North Atlanta Preschool our philosophy is to create a warm and happy place for young children to learn as we help them bridge the gap between home and school. We offer a variety of class options for children from twelve months old to pre-kindergarten, including Music, Computer, Chapel, and "PeeWee" P.E.
Our preschool program is a ministry of North Atlanta Church of Christ, therefore all of our teachers are members of the Church of Christ. It is important to us to help our students grow in an understanding of God during their time here. Through our Chapel classes and our Bible curriculum, we want to be sure that our students hear God’s stories, see His handiwork in the world around them, and feel His great love.
Our education standards are high to ensure that our students are ready for kindergarten when they leave here. At the same time, play is not a lost art in our program. We understand that preschoolers need time to use their creativity and imagination through free play and time to explore the world around them. In a caring and positive atmosphere, we strive to develop the whole child by enhancing their mental, physical, social, and spiritual needs.
At NAPS our teachers are patient, loving and kind, with an understanding and love of young children. Several of our teachers have college degrees with some in the area of Early Childhood or Elementary Education. All of our teachers attend yearly training and staff development courses and are CPR and 1st Aid trained.
The preschool hours are from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. We offer an optional extended hour, “Lunch Bunch”, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION POLICIES
It is the purpose and intent of North Atlanta Church of Christ to provide a safe, secure environment in which to teach and care for the children of our church and preschool. God expects us to make our churches safe places, protecting children and other vulnerable persons from sexual abuse. Thus, we adopt this policy for the prevention of child abuse in our church. For more information, feel free to download our Child Abuse Prevention Policies or stop by the office to review and discuss them. |
